Green Key

Landgoed Tespelduyn is committed to Corporate Social Responsibility and has been awarded the Green Key Gold seal of approval.

Companies with a Green Key seal of approval do everything they can to preserve the environment without sacrificing comfort and quality for their guests. In doing so, they go a step further than normal laws and regulations require.

Corporate sustainability

For example, a Green Key accommodation will always be energy and water efficient. Consider the use of solar panels, energy-saving light bulbs, light sensors and timers for air conditioning and heating. There will be no more washing than necessary and eco-friendly cleaning products will be used, for example. And all this with a special attention that not only promotes your feeling of comfort, but thus also the status of nature and the environment.

Green Key Gold

International eco-label

The Green Key program is managed by the Foundation for Environmental Education in Denmark and implemented in the Netherlands by Stichting KMVK. The certified companies meet the standards set by the KMVK Foundation (Stichting Keurmerk Milieu, Veiligheid en Kwaliteit). A third party with independent inspectors performs the inspections; this party is Groen Belicht. They inspect on site and check the documentation in the online Green Key system to which every participant has access.
