We have translated the ambitions from GEO and Green Key into 5 sub-plans.
Below are some ambitions:
Job management plan
- Describing a course management plan with protocols for greenkeeping
- Plant trees in the lane in strategically different places
- No more using pesticides and watering less
- Start-up of a VTA program for the old dune forest (Virtual Tree Assessment).
- No fungicide use (against mold)
Energy Plan
- Solar panel research
- Replacing gas lights parking lot and driving range with LED lighting
- Where still present, all old fixtures have been replaced with LED lighting
- Places expertise gas meters for more control over consumption
Nature Plan
- Field flower bed along hole 7
- Place camera traps for evening/night wildlife monitoring
- Guided tours of the estate
Information Plan
- News paper on TV at reception with up-to-date information on nature facts every 14 days
- Improve sustainability page on the website
Restaurant Plan
- Staff awareness through various types of information
- Electric car charging stations
- Reducing waste
- Entering procurement terms and conditions
